Delivery scheduled for Wed, Nov 30, 8am-11am....

Price is actually $100 above my (self-imposed...) "Trigger Point" - but considering that it is also $100 LESS than we spent on our first (42"!) Plasma it still seems like a Fair Deal....

there is a website, you may know of, that will email, tweet, text you when amazons price reaches a point you're comfortable with. i've set up a few tvs including one i previously bought so i could watch to see if it fell below the price i paid. the website is camelcamelcamel- it also tells you the lowest price the tv (or any product on amazon) has ever sold for. check it out so you don't go crazy checking the price every 5 minutes.... i missed out too, i was convinced the 65gt30 would fall below 3000. booooo

Just added it to my cart and saw the 180 shipping. Right under the price you see this

Price: $1,241.32
Note: Free shipping when purchased from Electronics Expo. Not eligible for Amazon Prime.

So according to the page it says free shipping, what gives?

Has dropped below the $1,300 mark on Amazon - below $1,250 for Third Party, although Shipping is apparently a question per above discussion...

This seems like a good price Right Now, as see several stores selling the 60" S30 for $1299!

Well I saw it was at $1,295.78 so I put it in my cart. Talked to the wife and she really didn't want to, lucky I don't have a wife that wants to spend every last dollar we have and she said in a sarcastic tone, go ahead, you do what you want anyways!

So I researched some more, lots of good reviews so decided to buy it and get it done with. At this point the price went up to 1399.99 but my cart price was still good so I purchased it. Be here next Monday. Anyone know how long the price is good in the amazon cart?

$999 for the 60ST30?
That's an awesome deal.

I just got the 60ST30 from HHGregg locally.
They price matched an online retailer at $1295 shipped, no tax.

Really, Fry's sold the 60" ST30 for $1000?
That's amazing.

I haven't set up the TV yet as I wanted it to sit over night to acclimate to the house humidity and temp.
The thing that has me concerned is that it's a May 2011 build, so it's not an updated or fixed model.

Frankly, I'm disappointed in Panasonic. It's been quite a number of months since they knew about this problem, and they've had a fix since August.
That's nearly 5 months ago.
Pana should have had retailers either do the update/repair or sent someone to do existing sets before they were sold.

Now, I'm stuck with having to make an appointment, wait for the tech, and then have the TV fixed, all before the 30 day return period.
Yeah, there's a fix, but the overall service for the fix sucks for the customer.

The Hhgregg by me just matched the panasonic EPP site price of 1186+tax. Best price I have seen; well other then 1000 at Fry's B&M.
