Wow! That's a great deal!
Any Magnolia in particular? I may want to look into that option.

Magnolia back in the day wouldn't budge under 3 grand for this set, then i saw it being sold at $2800 with a huge struggle and twist of the arm, 'm surprised to see them go this low all of a sudden!

Did you buy it? I'm just curious to see what build dates they are stocking in either that store or the warehouse in that area that would deliver into that area for Magnolia?

I bought it on Tuesday but none in stock. I requesed delivery after the New Year since my room is not quite ready.

My Dad bought the same model on Black Friday from the same store and he has an October build date, ofcourse Best Buy gave him this price too as a price gauruntee.

I have watched several 2D and 3D movies on his 64D8000 and I don't see the FB issues and he has a bat cave.

Thanks so much for letting me know all this
I live in Montreal and may just call this store and see if I can get the same price. Do you have the name of the guy who served you over there?

The closest Best Buys in from me in NY aren't so flexible on pricing, especially that low.

Also, when you receive yours, can you kindly let us know what build month you got.

Thanks a bunch!!
Tony

I had a hard time tracking down a deal on this TV too. I went to (4) Best Buy stores in and around Chicago that didn't have a Magnolia Center and they simply quoted me the price on the internet for the 64D8000;

I just happened by the Naperville store and they had a Magnolia Center and the price listed on the tv was $2599.00 but the manager said that they were price matching Amazon and they would reduce this price by $200 bucks. This also includes a pair of 3D glasses and the 3D Blu-Ray player.

I am still confused how One store can be so much lower on price vs. the website. My wife also checked the Best Buy Magnolia center in Merrillville Indiana (Northwest Indiana-Suburb of Chicago) and they offered the exact same deal.

I will be in Indianapolis this weekend and I will see what they offer.

Beer is the answer! What is the question?

Did you receive your tv yet? I was wondering what build date this Magnolia store sent you on your new 64"?
