I got my 59" last week and I'm tempted to go with the 64". I'll probably keep my 59" because I got a blu ray player and 2 pairs of glasses for $1499. This is a great price on the 64" though...

Hmmm... Which Fry's? I'm in Roseville, CA. I immediately jumped in my car after reading this and ran to Fry's. $2299 with Samsung 5500 blu-ray and two glasses of unknown model. With tax I'd probably still buy the one from Amazon. If there's a way my Fry's will match your Fry's I will get back in my car and make it happen. Otherwise...

I don't know if I drove faster to Fry's to buy the TV, or home after not finding it to post this message.

Edit: The Fry's guy said the $1799 price was "ridiculous" and laughed.

I was at the Frys in Renton, WA, last night and got the same deal. The PN64D8000 for $1799 (price good through 2/2/12), and they included a BD-D5500 Blu-Ray and two pair of 3D glasses (SSG-3050GB) for free!

The price on the TV alone is outstanding but to get the BD and glasses is too good to pass up. I had just bought a Panny P65ST30 the night before from Best Buy and tried to get them to match the Frys deal. They said their cost on the TV is about $2300 and they wouldn't price match, so the Panny went back.

Verified the San Diego price via online salesperson. Was told I could go into my store and they would match the price. They wouldn't. Now I guess I have to drive to San Diego. This TV is tainted for me now and I just can't pay $2300 anymore when there may be a chance to get it for $1800.

$2,300 in Indianapolis. I was really impressed with the picture, though.

Thanks for posting the final price out the door. I'm six+ hours away from Woodland Hills and was thinking of driving down to pick one up from Sacramento. I think the gas there and back would put it pretty close to Amazon.

Unless I sold the blu-ray player... Damn it I need to stop thinking about it.
