I went ahead and pulled the trigger on this one... Got the smaller soundbar as the reviews were better. Delivery is set for Thursday.

Just in case anyone wants to try this. I went to my local Bestbuy today wanting to purchase the Samsung PN64E7000FFXZA. I talked the Magnolia sales person down to $2099 with free shipping. He had to get manager approval. I feel good about this as it's a good price and I can return it easily to the store if there are any issues with it.

I see the 60E7000 is on sale at Bestbuy and I'm trying to make a call. Do you think it's going to be over tomorrow and go back up, or possibly be the same or even lower with it being Super Bowl week?

60" E7000 is $1200 at Tiger Direct.

They're Samsung certified, though they seem to be disobeying Samsung's fixed price policy with this deal. And it sold out in minutes.

TigerDirect now has the PN64E7000 on sale for $1,800 after discount code.

Ripped from Ben's Bargains:

Tiger Direct has the Samsung PN64E7000 64" 1080p 600Hz 3D Plasma HDTV for $2298 - $498 off with coupon code JZE82174 = $1800 with free shipping. Normally around $2200.

Link = http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2258946&sku=S222-6412

Looks like they're in stock right now. If I had not jumped on the Newegg/eBay PN64D8000 for $1,749 deal a few days ago I'd be all over this!

[update 2013-01-30 @12pm] - OOS now

I ordered a Samsung PN51E7000 from Amazon Warehouse Deals in "Like New" condition for $799 yesterday. Five hours later the price for the remaining two sets increased to $970. Amazon pricing is really a hit or miss affair. I am willing to loss the Samsung 1yr warranty to save two hundred dollars. A Square Trade warranty for open box electronics can be purchased for about $60. Any experience with Square Trade? Since I have a 30 day return window the value of a 1yr warranty is probably not very much. My house is filled with electronics and I have yet to use a manufacturers warranty.

ABC in-store offered a demo model PN60E8000 for $999 today. If you go to abc warehouse's Web site, the model is offered for $1,467 and is discontinued, but there also is a "or less" price tag, leading me to believe about the only stock they have left are floor models at their stores. They also told me unilateral pricing is in force, but 10 minutes later, the other salesman offered me the $999 deal!

The unilatteral priceing was removed sometime earlier this month I believe or late last month....If I were you before purchasing a floor model Id go ver every inch to ensure it wasnt defective and didnt have heavy IR.......Iwould also be looking for some type of warranty in case you do find something wrong and it needs to go back or extended warranty wink.gif......this is just me though as Id take extra percautions since the set was not new..

That is a horrible price for it, even brand new. It should be about $1,500-1,600 brand new.

Purchased a PN51E6500 yesterday for $938 shipped from Amazon. Very excited!

I was planning on picking up a Panny ST60.....50, 55 or 60 inch, whatever I could find the best deal on, but after seeing it in person at Sears, I just really don't like the chrome trim along the edge of the TV - tacky.
Also, after searching high and low the last week or two, I couldn't find a price as nice as the one for this Samsung......from an authorized, trustworthy seller, that is, that wasn't gonna call(harass) me to "confirm delivery information" and push upsells.
