here are my options:

50vt25 new in box $1049
(top of the line for 2010 and need to buy $100 dongle, right? any idea if it streams netflix, MLB and NHL?) cnet ces award winner

50st30 new in box $890 (mid model but 2011 -does it stream netflix, MLB and NHL? is dongle included or internal?)

50st50 new in box $1090 (2012) i know wifi is internal w NHL, netflix, and MLB - gets great reviews

all dont include tax. wats your take? oh, and it will be set up in my living room, not basement.

Hello,
BB's current price on the 55ST50 is awfully hard to turn down. You do only have until Saturday to get it as it will go back up $250 on Sunday. Do note it is a 55 inch Panel and not a 50 inch like the other models listed. Provided the others are 50 inch Models as listed, there are nothing but positives with going with the current ST50.
Cheers,

Out of all those I would definitely take the 50ST50 even if that means paying a little more. From everything I've seen it beats all of the past generation plasmas, even the VT lines. At worst it is equal to a VT30 from last year, at least in picture quality, of course there are some features missing. I own a 65ST50 but can't comment much on it since I got it two days ago and I'm still running the break in slides.

I'd go with the ST50, but yes the ST30 has an external dongle and it is included. Viera connect streams netflix etc.

Combined with the latest technology and larger Screen Size, the 55ST50 is truly a no brainer out of the listed TV's. I am surprised to see NIB VT25's still available, but 2 years is kind of like dog years when it comes to Panel Technology,
