The LG 60PA5500 60" is available at Fry's onlne. $699 and free shipping seems hard to beat. Any reason I shouldn't pull the trigger?

I'm right there with you.. Was kind of waiting for a 699 55-60" led- but this seems hard to pass on. Looking up some reviews now.

I picked one up Frys on Friday, and I set it up yesterday evening. So far I'm happy with it; it's replacing my 47" LCD (Vizio GV47L from 2007). In terms of features, it's very basic, but I'm of the opinion that TV's and monitors ought to be just dumb displays. So far I've only been running it at about 50% brightness and contrast, and even at those settings, it looks pretty good. I can't wait until it's really broken in and I can properly tune it. Last night I christened it with Godfather Part 2 blu-ray and am watching the NFC game today (changing channels relatively frequently to ensure no IR). At the $699 price, it's quite a good value and I'd certainly recommend it.

I picked one up a couple of days ago, I returned a 60" Sony Bravia they had on sale. We had a plasma before I got the Sony, I could not believe the difference in the color and the way the picture looked. I am so, so, so very happy with this set. Its a steal at this price.
