Amazon offers the Panasonic 60" 600Hz WiFi 1080p 3D Widescreen Plasma HD Television, model no. TCP60GT50, for the in-cart price of $1,699.99 with free shipping.

Plus, purchasers will receive 2% of the purchase price ($33.99) back as an Amazon gift card.

A great list of the best tv deals online. Updated daily. Nice bargains.

Not too bad. A much better value than the 60" ST, which is about $1640 on Amazon.

I'm trying to decide if getting a 60" or 65" ST/GT is worth the savings vs. the $2500 65" VT... tough call. Is $850 worth it for 5" and VT performance? These are good problems to have, right?

Isn't the only significant differences between the GT and VT series the fact you can fine-calibrate the VT series through the IFC menu and the VT has Infinite Black Ultra vs Infinite Black Pro on the GT series? Has anyone done a side by side comparison of image quality and black levels? Is there really a significant difference to justify about a $400 price difference?

I really wanted to go with the VT 65" but my wife insists we order through Amazon to use our card + credits and they don't have the VT '65 in stock and haven't for several weeks.

The VT does have, I believe, better black level due to that "Ultra" panel, and more calibration options. Also, I have a colorimiter, and have calibrated displays before, so that is a value to me. If it was $1000, I'd get the ST, but I'm not seeing the 65" ST for that much less than $2500, which surprises me!

I feel like they overpriced the lower end models to push people for the top end VT (2012 models anyway). I would bet the st and gt won't be at the prices they should be until the VT's are gone.

It is a joke in how they play with the pricing -- I lost $200 by waiting SEVEN hours to finalize my order on Amazon! You see a good deal-- go for it!
