I'm downgrading from a Panasonic Projector in my den currently @ 110'' to a TV due to uncontrollable ambient light.
I'm currently in the market for a TC-65VTS50 but can't really justify the $2400 to buy a 65''.
Recently Fry's has put the LG 60PA6500 on sale for 699.
Today they put the TC-P6OU50 on sale for the same price.
in the past month I have gone from the Sharp LC-70LE847U back down to the LC-70LE640U when the 847U got bad reviews. When I got down to the Non-quattron Sharp. I was back in Plasma $$$ range and started looking at the Panasonic for best picture quality. I still feel like the Panasonic VT is a tad over priced for a 65''. This LG popped up on the Map and I see it has great reviews as well for 1/4 of the cost. I can't stand the serial effect of LEDs. I guess in the end the question comes to Should I buy the:
Panasonic TC-P60U60 over the LG - 60PA6500 or Vice-versa?
The final plan is to use the Plasma during the day and go back to the projector on cloudy days and nights. Your advice is appreciated. Thanks in advanced.
The U50 and UT50 do not have an anti-glare filter, and can have mirror-like glare depending on your environment. If you're planning to use it during the day, you might want to consider at least an ST50, which does have anti-glare
