2013 Panasonic 3D plasma 60" TC-P60ST60 pre-order for $1444.99 plus tax via EPP discount P60ST60
Panasonic just lowered the pre-order price of their 2013 Panasonic 3D plasma 60" TC P60ST60 to $1444.99 plus tax via EPP discount (It was $1614.99). The 2013 model includes 2 pairs of 3D glasses as well. this makes this deal much better than the clearance deals on the 2012 60" ST50 models.

You do have to have a Panasonic Employee Purchase Program (EPP) account to get this price.

60" 3D w/ 2 pairs of glasses Panasonic TC-P60ST60 $1444.99 via EPP discount [panasonic.com]

Alternatively if you don't want 3D they have also lowered the price of the 65" TC-P65S60 non-3D plasma from $1614.99 to 1444.99 as well.

65" non-3D Panasonic TC-P65S60 $1444.99 via EPP discount [panasonic.com]

ANYONE KNOW HOW TO GET THE EPP STATUS?

4. Once the site opens up, on the left menu under the category "Browse Discounts", click "By Store."

5. Scroll down the alphabetized list to 'P' and click on "Panasonic" (the first store in the middle column).

6. A heading will come up titled "Discounted pricing through the Panasonic Purchase Program," and you want to click on the "Shop Now" blue tab on the right.

7. A page will momentarily pop up stating the code to be entered for the EPP discount is Group ID "PRK777."

Does this still work? I thought Panasonic cracked down on it last year.

Not sure. I used it to sign up in early December. I had a ST50 in my cart but didn't order it that day. When I went back a couple of days later to order and pay, the site no longer had the particular model that I wanted listed anymore.

@IndyFriend

My TC-P55ST50 sits at an Indy warehouse awaiting delivery to me this next week. I think I probably got one of the last ones from PaulsTV at $1149. I'm offering it out to anyone at that price. I can tell the warehouse to ship to another address. Any interest? Anyone else?

Need to act kinda quick as they want to deliver it in a week or so.

The ST60 on panasonic is no longer 404 error'd. Just preordered it, hope this sucker performs like its predecessor, almost pulled the trigger on the pauls tv 65" vt50 for $2,499 but figured $1,000 extra in my wallet for now was a better choice. Also had to get a new tv stand so that went into the funds decision. Overall hope this is a great deal

They run it and it pends for about 5 days, then clears. So yeah they'll charge it once it actually ships.

I get to the point where i click on the "Rush University Medical Center" and as soon as i click on it the next message i get is "The page you requested is no longer valid or unavailable at this time. Please try again later. "
Last night when i tried, i was at least able to get one point further and enter in address and log-in info.. then went to a screen that said was no longer available....

Try just going to the normal panasonic site directly- when I logged in with my old email, not going through epp or that other site or anything, the prices were lower. The example the OP cited anyway matched. But it's 3wks later now, maybe they're supposed to be even cheaper than that for epp now.

Either way I'm not excited about ordering direct from panasonic, because you have only one path of appeal if there's a problem. If you buy from amazon or bb, you have your 30 days if there's a problem you can return/exchange with no penalty. Panasonic, it's warranty from day one. Returns, less shipping & restocking fees etc. Probably for the best if you can't, although free shipping now.

Thoughts on a 60GT50 or 60ST60? Prices are very similar...any major differences? I know there isn't a GT series in 2013 models...

If I could get EPP pricing I still wouldn't order from Panasonic. Amazon's shipping is better, as well as their return policy. Some people have gone months waiting for Panasonic to issue a refund or another set. Nope, not this girl and especially not a preorder, noooo. I'll pay more for better service. cool.gif

Other than what's apparent, ie THX modes etc, nothing else is known until the ST60 is tested. Sure it will most likely have slightly darker blacks but(!) how will it perform? In the past, no one expected floating blacks or fluctuating brightness/gama either. I'm sure that EU didn't expect capped brightness last year either. wink.gif

I got confirmation from Panasonic that my pre-order TC-P60ST60 just shipped. Earlier than the "April" estimates Panasonic kept giving me. smile.gif

Seriously? Awesome, I cant wait to get mine. I just placed the order yesterday though.

For the record, I was able to get the discounted price using the method above. (1444.99)

I'm very anxious to get this TV, ive been using a 60 DLP Mit for so long and have hated it.

Yes...I just looked at the tracking and it was picked up yesterday in Anaheim, CA. No delivery date yet, but it's on the way. I also grabbed the $1449 EPP deal. Amazing! Hopefully yours is on its way soon too! Enjoy!

Did you order early? I've contacted some local dealers and all of them said their reps said mid April before they get inventory. I'm actually not worried if it takes that long, I was ready to wait till end if April. I'm more just courteous as to their shipping schedule due to number of orders. Seems like they would want to get stock at dealers, even if only a demo model so people can see the new model.

When you get it let us know how the picture looks, I'm curious if it still as good as the p50, I was worried slightly that something changed causing inaccurate color or reduced blacks

I ordered it on Feb 14th. I kept getting status updates that said backordered but no delivery estimate. I called Panasonic two days ago and they said they will ship in April. Then last night I got the delivery confirmation email. I hope they are sending me the right tv!!! lol I will certainly test it out and post how it looks. This is my first plasma set...I'm graduating from LED/LCD since our new house has a dark enough room; so I might not be the best judge. From what I have read on these forums it will be a very very slight improvement over the current 60ST50 which is fine with me considering the new model is cheaper with EPP pricing and is supposed to come with two sets of 3D glasses. So we'll see.

Good advice Leon...will do!

I did also read that the picture will look the same as the P50, (I hope so) but that is just speculation, I really hope its not worse because they "improved" something. if you get yours and are able to see it in acual use it will help us all for sure. I still have time to cancel the order if need be.
I really would have rather ordered from Amazon (because of their return/exchange policies) and I see that its suppose to be listed at 1499.00, only slightly more than the EPP pricing. but they are not taking orders yet.

I also hope you are getting the correct TV shipped as well. I notied that on the panasonic site it says the lower P60 and a 55 model is ready for shipping now. Still says April for the ST60..

I emailed Panasonic and inquired about the t.v. wanting to make sure it was the correct model year that shipped. I received this reply:

"It is the correct model. We got the shipment in early than we assumed. Thank you, Whitney N"

So these things should be hitting the stores/Amazon any time now. Maybe in hindsight Amazon would've been a better choice since so many people seem concerned about Panasonic's responsiveness. I guess I will need to keep my fingers crossed all goes well. Let us know if you get your shipping confirmation. I will post pics as soon as I can.

I tried and the link says up to 40% off. It says no code required and I don't get a pop-up asking for any code. Any of the plasma's I select only come up at 15% off including the aforementioned models. Seems like perhaps those discounts are gone now, at least on plasma's ???

Even with possible issues from Pioneer I have no concerns. They are located close to me so it's easy enough to deal with any problems. Besides my credit card company is really good. I can just give it back to them, they will credit me, and take care of all the hassle.

Now if I could only get it to give me more than 15%. Whats the problem ?

Pretty much anything really.
TC-P65VT60 - $3600 Retail > $3060
TC-P65ST60 - $2600 Retail > $1950
That's 15% off retail. All the other models I checked were the same.

Log in through perkspot. Says Perkspot at top of all Panasonic pages, also welcome to Club Panasonic. There is no place to put in any code if thats what causing the disconnect.

For the record, I did not have to put in a code either. I just followed the steps, there some difference (like no code) but once I signed up and got the conformation email I was then taken to the pani site under the EPP link, that is were the price was shown as 1444.99. I just looked again and it will alow me to order another one at the same price.
