Would be interesting to find out what percentage of clients `Bargain', versus what percentage are like my mother, and pay the going price?
My chum was in BB the other day manipulating pricing when a customer came in to talk with his salesman, and purchased $25,000 worth of Video and Audio equipment in 15 minutes without questioning the pricing! Now if only, lets say, 15% bargain, versus 85% that don't, I don't think BB is really going to worry about the 15% that much unless you do a fair amount of purchasing from them. Oneses, twoses I don't think they'll care.
