I didn't mention on the original post is that the stand and remote are not included on the VT60

I knew there had to be something with that one at that price.

According to S&V (found using a quick Google search):

The two ZT60 models hit the market today, exclusively at Magnolia stores (inside Best Buy) until July 31. List prices are $4,099 for the 65-inch TC-P65ZT60 and $3,499 for the 60-inch TC-P60ZT60.

Previously, in this thread someone indicated the cost of the stand is $200.

I don't know the cost of VT remote(s). Perhaps they're the same as ZT?
ZT remotes are about $36 & $108 (mouse remote).

60" ST60  $1,200  (2,030 hours)

60" VT60  $1,100  (3,440 hours)

60" ST60  $   800  (3,495 hours)

I have it in order of what I think is the best value and what I am leaning on purchasing.  I like the 65" ZT60 cause its has the size and picture quality!  I like the 60" ST60 cause of the lowest hours and has the value factor.

Please help make an educated decision.  Thank you

I just found a display 65" VT60 for $2000 with 3,350 hours.  Would you then consider that instead?

MSRPs are just that, "suggested" prices... They are of little true consequence on the actual price the TVs sell for. What is more important in determining the price is the balance between availability and demand. And now that production has ceased that balance has shifted dramatically towards more demand than availability and the prices these TVs now command reflect that shift. MSRP is out the window at this point.

All I am new here but I just bought a new ZT60 from a Central FL BB on Friday night Jan 14th.  They had 56 units in the warehouse.  It was delivered today for a total price $2200.

They are 60ZT60's. Basically the only model left.

I went into the store not going to buy a TV.  I have a TH50Px that is 10 years old.  When I made a crass comment that I would prefer a panasonic plasma he said he could sell me one.  I asked how much and I just handed him my cc.

Not yet, just hedging my bets on the 65VT60 replacement, (that you are very well aware of) getting to me in one piece since it's supposedly the last one left in Best Buy's system that I had to find on my own after dealing with an untold amount of.....from BB. Why do you ask, especially publicly when you've been PMing me in private? which as you know I appreciate you're willingness to try and help. You're one of the few of many BB employees I've dealt with that actually seems to know the meaning of good customer service.

Waiting on my NIB 60ZT60 to arrive next week sometime. Praying that it arrives in good condition. CEVA is delivering and they've been good to me in the past so hoping this is the same.

Also god for bid this arrives damaged...how can you get something from BB in Florida if you live in CT?

Didn't consider it a private question, as it wasn't related to our other conversation. Was just surprised you were buying more than one!

We'll keep the other conversation in PM. smile.gif

Like I said, I haven't bought it, yet. My 65VT from CA finally arrived at the local dock this morning and the lady I talked to at PILOT that scanned it said the box looked ok but it won't be going to the local BB store until tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

I have boxed it in original packing and comes will all accessories nothing is missing.

I bought it..took some doing..but it is being shipped to my local BB and then to me.....biggrin.gif

I picked up a pristine 60" ZT60 this weekend. I took a tip from another member on here and visited a So*Cal Magnolia just to see what they had. I only found one, a recently purchased one from a customer who wanted the 65".

It's a June build with only 67 hours on it. No IR, No fan noise (yet), not a scratch. And everything was in the box.

I was actually skepitcal about finding one at this point and was going to just order an F8500 but got lucky.

I went into the BB at The Loop and asked them to look them up in their computer.  I went to the desk in the TV section.  I needed a optical cable since my receiver does not support HDMI ARC.

Did you specifically ask them to check the warehouse(DDC)? These stores will not have units on-hand at the store level.
