I am announcing right here, right now, that I am offering my personal 65" ZT60 for local pickup in Austin, TX. It's an incredible display that I have had the great pleasure of enjoying with my family since November 2013. I've taken great care in the first 300 hours to make sure that a wide variety of video material has been put through the phosphors. I zoomed in all of my movies so there would be no black bars.

I'm moving cross country and I don't have the original box because my wife threw it away (argh). I have an aftermarket plasma TV moving box on the way so if I don't sell the TV, I will bring it even though I don't like the idea of traveling so far with a delicate piece of technology.

The TV is not 100% perfect if you inspect the glass with the power off. It has a tiny chip in the lower left quadrant that spans about a three pixel circle that Panasonic would not take responsibility for but came out the box that way. I have never been able to spot the chip unless I go within a couple feet of the display while watching anything as it is just so tiny compared to the vastness of the display. Color still comes through the tiny chipped spot so it's not like my old Apple Cinema Display that had an annoying always-green pixel. I think with a little smoothing out and some pro glass repair work, it would disappear even at close range.

After I bothered Panasonic about it for months and got nowhere, I realized that it didn't bother me at all except for the fact that it would lower the resale value, which ended up affecting me a lot sooner than I thought it would!

Because of the non-perfect condition, I'm offering this TV for $2500 cash and that includes the shipping box that is costing me $130.

While shopping for a Samsung 5300 series TV I stumbled across a last remaining 65" ZT60 at the ABC Warehouse in Findlay Ohio. It is the floor model and they were willing to sell it for $2100. I am sad to say that I made the smart financial decision and didn't buy it as it was still out of my price range. So if anyone in the Northwest Ohio area is interested in picking one up for a great price with the warranty it is still available.

This place outside of Providence has about 5 in stock (I did an online inquiry and someone called me back), but I believe they are all used.

I only live about 30 minutes away, so i was thinking of going to check the warehouse out

Does anybody have any suggestions on things to look for (other than IR)? If the TV seems to be in decent shape, I'm still nervous about what would happen if something needed to get fixed

I've had a hard time finding any information on them and how legit they are

Just spoke to them myself. They are open box returns, etc. They may have cosmetic damage, they "try" and locate anything wrong with them by providing a would-be customer with a list of issues. You are allowed to look them over before purchase.

Hmmm....guess one could get lucky. Or... 20 pixels in the middle of the screen are shot, or the HDMI jacks don't work, etc etc.... I'm thinking of the saying...."Beggars can't be choosers" but I might still hold out to see if one is somewhere else.
