Hi all,

My old TV is starting to die as the LCD panels are starting to go. Now that it's getting close to Black Friday time and then Superbowl, I'd like to ask fellow-AVS Forum subscribers for some help:

I'd like to get the best deal possible on a 64" minimum size Plasma TV with anti-glare. Sam's Club in my area did have a 64" Panasonic with anti-glare some months ago and now it seems like they no longer carry it either in store on online. I came here for some help and advice.

I basically want the best picture possible for the price. I don't need smart TV features, just good, raw HDTV performance. Because the TV is in a high light area, I absolutely need anti-glare—no choice on the matter there.

So, anyone have any thoughts, leads, ideas, models, suggestions? Thanks!

Don't think it exists outside of used.

The Sam's Club TV you were thinking of was the TC-65PS64 - or the S64.. it's the S60 with an anti reflective filter.

One person on eBay is selling some

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Panasonic-TC-65PS64-SMART-VIERA-65-Class-S64-Series-Full-HD-Plasma-TV-64-7-/111196564404?pt=Televisions&hash=item19e3d4ebb4

$1500

Might be able to offer and get it for $1400 but I can't see doing much better than that.

Sorry I didn't acknowledge the response earlier. Thanks for that link. My preference, however, would be to buy it from someplace direct as you can probably understand. I'm not keen on doing the ebay route for a TV. I think this TV used to go for $1,200?

It's original MSRP i think is more like $1400 plus tax from costco / sam's

you might want to search for the tv shack, as he sells them cheaper on his site than through ebay
