I'd posted in another thread off and on, but felt this deserved its own thread. Mods, sorry if it needs to be merged.
I just want to let everyone know they should have ZERO hesitation in ordering or dealing with Cleveland Plasma. I was a bit hesitant to use ANY online dealer for a major purchase. Something is comforting about going to a major store like Best Buy and knowing if anything goes wrong, I can drive over in a matter of minutes and get someone's ear.
I've been TV shopping for almost 8 months now, and finally decided on the Samsung PN64F8500. After a couple PM's with another member about his experience with Chris at Cleveland, I took the plunge. Chris quoted me an incredible cost on the TV. Quite a savings from retail. Then.... the adventure began.
No fault of Chris, but the TV was misplaced by the shipping company. Chris emailed me and was on top of it. I don't want to bore everyone with details, but from time of order to the time I got the TV was nearly 2 weeks. Frustrating for sure! But, Chris was quick to make me a satisfied customer. He threw in a couple extras with my order, and during this whole experience, made every effort to let me know I was in control. (even when I felt I wasn't.) In other words, he'd refund my money right away if I wanted to bail out. No pressure at all. I stuck it out, and my TV arrived yesterday. Chris even called the shipping company to hound them about when to deliver, as they had called me to tell me it would be different than originally promised. They delivered on time, and the TV is awesome. Brand new plasma, no problems AT ALL. Extended warranty through Samsung? Check, no problem through their site. Mack Warranty? Check, no problem at all.
I don't think Chris sleeps either. The guys signature line says till 11pm 365 days a year and it's not a joke. I won't test him on Christmas, but my bet is he would pick up the phone. He always picked up. I'd even shoot him a late night email on the west coast, (like 11pm) and Chris would answer it in 5 minutes. Dude is nuts!
I'm a very satisfied customer. It's transactions like these that are a true testament to customer service. My order was a bit of a nightmare...and Chris held my hand the entire time through it. Anyone can have great service when things go the way they should. When they don't go well, you need to be their for your customer. Chris and Cleveland Plasma did that and more.
