Been scoping the internet for about a month, looking for a good deal on Netgear's 8-port Gigabit Ethernet Desktop Switch (GS108)... and I finally found it for $35 (+ tax) at Newegg. This price is after a coupon code ($10 off), and a manufacturer's mail-in rebate ($15). Shipping is free, but sales tax probably applies for most. Anyway, here are the details:

Product link (Newegg):
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16833122111

$10 off w/ promo code NETGEAR13, ends 3/5
(Note: You need to be checking out and logged into your Newegg account before you can apply this code for the $10 discount.)

My order came out to:
Subtotal: $49.99 (after applied discount code)
Tax: $3.62
Shipping and Handling: $0.00
Total Amount: $53.61

When I get the rebate processed, the final cost will be $38.61. This is about the best price for this GigE switch, at least for now

Finally, here is a direct link to the rebate form, in PDF format (via Newegg):

Thanks for the thanks! Glad to be able to contribute to the forum

Already got mine in the mail. Now I can upgrade from the 5-port GS105 to the 8-port GS108 for all my networked living room devices. Five ports just were not enough for me, since I started adding multiple HDHomerun units to network.

And thanks for the thread bump, since today is the last day for the coupon code.
