You don't see Samsung drives this cheap normally. Use coupon code EMCYTZT1974.

I don't know about that. I got one a couple weeks ago for $90, the 256GB was on sale for $190 last week. For the quality of drive you're getting the Samsung 830 has been the best deal on the market lately.

Not that I'm a great HTPC builder but I was surprised at the speed gain of the Sammy 830 over the same size Crucial M4 (everything else being equal).

Newegg also has a Fractual Midi Case for $70 today.

I'm running a Sammy 830 256 GB in my laptop (i7 2670QM, Sandy Bridge NB/HM 65 SB, SATA 6 Gbps).

Very fast startup/shutdown, drive's temp is always around 35-40 degrees C, this screen is after a full day's use:

Samsung SSD Magician software is the best SSD configuration set that I've used. Most every task I can think of that you'd need to do to an SSD drive (vice secure erase) can be done right within Windows:

Case:Fractal Design Node 605
APU:AMD Richland A10-6700
RAM:8GB AMD 1866
Board:ASUS A88XM Plus
Storage:OCZ 256 GB Vector
Optical:Panasonic Slim BDR
PS:Silverstone Strider 550 Gold SFF
Software:WMC8+LAV+madVR+MPC-HC
Input:Logitech K400 mini KB/trackpad+Harmony 720
Output:Sammy 55" S6 LED LCD+Yamaha soundbar

I meant that Samsung SSDs don't seem to go on sale as often as some of the other SSDs. Seems like there's a new sale just about everyday for a Crucial or OCZ SSD.
