Newegg has this 240GB SSD for $89.99 afrer rebate.

And so does Tiger Direct.

I also found what appears to be a step up in the PNY lineup, the 240GB XLR8 for $99.99 AR from Tiger Direct.

Unfortunately I have not found any reviews on PNY SSDs. Obviously prices are coming down, but I don't want to buy something of questionable quality just to save a few bucks.

Has anyone seen any PNY reviews or test reports?

Looks like both TD links are the same drive.

Anyway, I'm not ready for a PNY ssd just yet. Could just be a re-brand of someone else. I always thought that PNY was in the lower end of the scale. No facts to back that up, just a gut sense.

Yep, I messed up on the link & just corrected it. Sorry about that.

I know PNY has been around a long time but have not seen any reviews comparing their SSDs to other brands. I did see a review on the PRO XLR8 but not the regular XLR8.
