BB in Monroe, NY doesn't have any. The next closest store in Nyack has 2 that were paid for up front & are right behind the girl! Arggg!

Panasonic U50-60, Arcam AVP 700, Conrad Johnson MF 5600, Denon DVD 5900, Def Tech BP 2000 7.1

Just wanted to pass along my experience. Went to Best Buy in Nashville (off Charlotte Pike) and asked about the pioneer elite bdp-62FD. The salesperson said they they has them and the unit was on clearance for $159.99. I asked since they are on clearance would you take $119.99 for one. He said let me ask my manager. Long story short. I walked out with one for $119.99 plus tax. I think they may have one or two left so if you are in the Nashville area check them out.

$119 is insane. I just picked up a new open box off ebay for $180 free shipping. I hope I like it.
I'll be comparing it to my Denon's 3910 & 5900.

I just picked one up for 135. I noticed some other local best buy's had it for 119 but the condition was fair as the one I got was excellent.

Can this blu-ray player play 7.2 audio? I'm going to connect it to my Denon receiver and use a Y cable to have 2 subs.

I realize this hasn't seen any activity for a couple of months, but I just stumbled across the model on BB's website as an open box and then found this thread.

They had three listed and two disappeared in the past day, so I don't want to delay. Unfortunately the last one is 45 minutes away.

So, the only one left is $110, listed in Fair condition, but the fellow told me it's because it's missing the remote & manual. He said it's got to be fully functional or they wouldn't list it.

I looked on Pioneer's site and see they've got some apps for Androids that seem like they'll replace the missing remote. Can anyone comment on how the app for this unit works? It seems like it should be better than a universal remote.

Any comments about whether I really need the original remote?

Oh - I checked Pio's site and found a later FW version than I noticed mentioned. Did they take care of the YouTube problems?

Thanks!
