First posting here. I joined in the hopes of selling my TEAC Reference series stereo components.
Though it saddens me somewhat to sell these, because they are great (they really are, and if you poke around online for info on these, you will see that "audiophiles" tend to love them), I can't really justify hanging onto them anymore. CDs are dead to me (going to sell those, too), and I don't listen to the radio any longer. I bought a Zepplin ipod speaker dock, and my 320kbps rips sound good enough for me!
I bought these TEAC components in 1999, and they have served me well since then. The CD Rewritable Deck did give me some problems that required a repair by TEAC, but it's been fine since then. This is a complete system: Amplifier, reciever, 7-disc CD player, CD rewritable player/burner, and 2 cassette decks (back in the days of dubbing tapes).
Ideally, I prefer to sell all these as a unit instead of piece by piece, so price for all of them is $800 (plus whatever shipping costs are). I arrived at these prices based on what others had sold them for.
Hopefully, I have set fair asking prices, but I am receptive to a reality check if I am off base with any of these, and am open to reasonable offers. I accept paypal, personal check, or money order.
Also, I just opened a heatware (heatware is a good resource for evaluating sellers and buyers of electronic gear) account: peppergomez, but don't have any feedback yet. I'm an honest guy, though. :-)
Shipping is TBD
, based on where you live. I am in North Carolina, USA.
If you have any questions or want to see some more pics, you can email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) or PM me.
Here is the list of components:
T-H500 tuner $60
RW-H500 CD Rewritable Deck $200
PD-H570 Multi CD Player $200
A-H500 Integrated Stereo Amplifier $250
2x R-H500 Stereo Cassette Deck $150 each or $250 for both.
I unearthed a few asking prices on Google. One person asked (and apparently got) $400 for both the PD-H570 and A-H500
The A-H500 went for $65
The H-500 is listed here at around $231
No listing for the RW-H500 that I could find.
