JBL 250 Ti

The ones you have been waiting for. Legendary. Beautiful. American made. All original, pristine condition. Bought brand new, by me, in unopened boxes while stationed in Japan in 1987 as a military officer. Very large floor standing speakers. 150 lbs each. 52 inches tall. All original documentation and sales receipt. Sequential serial numbers on matched left and right speakers.

All original Drivers. The Low Frequency Drivers (LE-14H-1) were rebuilt by Upland Loudspeaker Service in Southern California. They have been JBL-authorized since 1988. The drivers were resuspended with new foam surrounds and new spiders.
Rebuilt in 2009 with photographic documentation of the rebuild.

Speakers have been modified only in that I removed the old cheap, brittle, plastic button feet and replaced them with 32 mm metal disc, adjustable threaded stem glides. This modification was recommended in the Lansing Heritage Forums.

The oiled teak cabinets have been maintained in near perfect condition per JBL guidelines. The original fabric speaker grilles are also in near perfect condition.

The Hi-Freq drivers (044Ti) have very slight indentations in their metal screen grills. They are not really visible but can be detected by running your fingers across the contour. Evidence of slight fading of cabinets only noticeable when fabric grilles removed. Other than that these speakers are as close to perfect as you will ever find. Potential buyers must be willing to pick up in Vancouver, WA. Original boxes are now gone.
