YES! 4 of these bad boys would really kill it in the super low stuff. biggrin.gif I think (know) you will have fun experimenting.

For me the decision to go sealed was highly influenced by my room's 'profile' - as you've seen I get tons of room gain <25hz which made things very fun with the sealed setup. Have you given any thought to amplification? Using the XLS5000 as a starting point?

IPR 7500 dsp is a consideration when it debuts in October for both caps an sealed.

I have four Ultimax 18"s from Dayton Audio on pre-order. If I don't find anyone selling LMS-5400 drivers before then - I'm just going with the budget drivers.

I've got an eye on the HST-18 as well - but SI seems to be getting out of the HT subwoofer business - so we'll see if they come into play or not.
