Have upgrade-itis. I purchased these for my theatre room. Once, the PB2000's came out, I decided to upgrade and moved these up to my bedroom. These are great, but just need to move more air. Someone buy these, so I can upgrade. ;-). They are like new and have the original packaging. Would prefer local(MI) sale, but could ship. Earl 248-842-3309. Thx for looking.

Long story, but because I purchased them from a dealer...it would be cheaper for me sell outright due to return shipping. If they don't sell, then it won't be catastrophic to keep them. They are great subs..the 2000s are better. ;-)

I am getting quite a bit of interest on these. One thing that I am finding is that due to size, shipping cost (without benefit of a high volume fed ex account) are about double what I originally paid. Thin, an ok deal for the buyer but not a great deal for the buyer. My dilemma is that if I offset the price (current price has me losing a very small amount), I end up paying more than retail for the 2000's when all is said and done. I love the 2000's and my upgrade-itis is flaring up something awful, however I won't pay more than retail for the new speakers.

So, anyone have any suggestions on how to get better shipping prices for prospective buyers...otherwise I have to limit sales to local Southeastern Michigan) or states that are close in proximity. This is a great forum with a ton of knowledge. hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

If you set up a business account with FedEx, you automatically get discounted rates in the 30-40% range, regardless of volume.  I don't remember the requirements for a business account being terribly strict.  When you do a rate quote on their website, it'll still show you the non-discounted rate even when specifying to use the account, which is always a bit confusing.
