I can't believe I'm doing this but here goes....

I'm selling 2 of my JTR Noesis 212's. 4000 for both of them with or without the 2 JTR stands. I won't ship but would be willing to drive half way, I live in the Kansas City area. PM if interested.

Thanks Coach - haha, was that your time? 30 minutes?

I'm curious, how much does it cost to ship 3 of these? PM me if you don't want to post it here. smile.gif

Most of us might need a new room before we can get a 415...

I am just hoping the 215's hold me over until the 218's hit the street.... wink.gif

Haha, no not off the forums I've kept up with what's going on for the most part but I had real bad elbow tendinitis that I finally figured out was aggravated by typing and it bothered me for a few months and still does a little bit - my posts have been very short for quite awhile. Well, there's that and the fact that April/May is crazy busy with school and track.

Yeah, that's the plan. Jeff is going to get back to me and let me know if that will work for sure.

I've posted this other places - I've admitted to myself that even if there are no audio benefits going from 212's/subs to 215's I'm ok with it just for looks alone of the 215. How stooopid is that...biggrin.gif

According to Jeff when I talked with him at the Axpona. The 215's will be out for a long while before he comes out with another reference speaker.

No, sorry man. smile.gif When I bought these speakers I was 100% certain they would be my last pair ever. I have never spent anywhere close to this amount of money on speakers so I figured it was a one time thing, and I loved their sound so much it made sense at the time. This combined with the fact that we have very little storage in the house... I threw all the boxes out.

Also, I shipped a couple Submersives that I sold last year. One of them had no problems but the other was severely damaged. Eventually Fedex paid for it but it was a complete nightmare going through that.

You only had issues shipping the SubMersives as you didn't just pass on the packing and shipping costs to the buyer with the proper packing materials. The empty SubMersive packing was much more expensive (by ~$50) to ship than the longer, narrower boxes. Get a quote from Jeff to buy the packing and ship it to you and add that to the price if shipped. Once you put the price on it, buyers can decide if it's worth it and you save all the stress of trying to pack them on your own or locally which didn't work out so well last time. wink.gif

Dammit man, you are never going to let me live that down!! tongue.gifwink.gifbiggrin.gif

Haha, so right though talk about lesson learned!! Of course I had zero problems shipping the submersive that I had the box and packing materials - errrrr - I mean Counsil was super cool to let me have one of his boxes since yet again I didn't keep the boxes.

I never keep the boxes... every sub and speaker(s) I buy are supposedly going to be my last... redface.gif

A couple of local avs guys and good friends are both interested, so if that fails I may have to do what you suggest - good idea. smile.gif

You plan on living in the same house forever? I think the original/OEM boxes are important to lots of potential buyers. Even if I drove to meet you vs. having them shipped, I (personally) would appreciate having the original boxes/packaging.

Have any idea how much JTR would charge to send you the original packaging? Maybe split the cost with a potential buyer????

My $.02 is always awesome...

Good luck with the saile either way man.

Ha, actually yes. Even thought it's not a huge house my wife and kids cannot hear me cranking the system in the bedrooms even if it's 3 in the morning. There are many other factors but believe it or not that one is pretty important to me.

With the fire power you have in your basement, I can imaigine that would be important. You must have some serious sound proofing going on down there.

Worried about phase issues with your sealed subs when you upgrade to ported mains?

No, I don't have any sound proofing I just got lucky. My house is a side by side split with the bedrooms above the garage on the other end of the house from the basement where my room is. The kid's rooms are as far from the basement as possible and my wife can sleep through a tornado.

Also luckily the neighbors say they never hear anything either.

No, I plan to go full range no subs for music and cross at 50hz for now for movies. I'll tinker with it for sure though.
