FS: NIB 1 Emotiva XPA-3 and 2 UPA-500s

I purchased these new from Emotiva a little over a year ago with the intent of using them in my home theater. Unfortunately, my home theater has yet to be constructed and these amps aren't doing me any good sitting in boxes. I opened all 3 amplifiers and tested all channels upon receiving them to make sure they weren't DOA. Since then, they have been sitting in their boxes in a climate controlled cedar closet.

First Gen XPA-3 looking for $550

UPA-500 looking for $300 each

Buyer to pay for shipping from 60137, and local pick up is available (Chicagoland). I am looking to accept payment via Money Order or through Amazon Payments (add 2.9% for fees). Thanks for looking and feel free to ask any questions.

Would you do $450 on the xpa-3? I'm in Streamwood for the weekend and can get it anytime.

It is just regular deal, many time you can see $550 for XPA-3 on Ebay, I think you will need to little lower price to hit more buyers a specially when shipping and fee for paying needs to be added, I think $450 cash is fair deal.

Just checked, 2 listings, both used and at $500 plus shipping right now...

If you want to buy used off of Ebay, then go to Ebay. If you want to buy new from a member of the AVS community, then this is the thread.

Thanks.

I know it is why I said little not much. Let me ask you about XPA-3. I'm looking for 9.2 set up and my Denon X4000 can do 7.2 so I will need extra amp. It is better to get XPA-3 and run 3 front speakers with it and rest with Denon or UPA500 will be better to just add it for maybe surrounds back or front height, thanks

I bought these amps with the idea of an 11.2 system, planning to use the XPA-3 for the LCRs and the UPA-500s to power the surrounds/wides/heights. I would say that if you plan to have your receiver power some speakers and an amp for some speakers, your best option would be to use the XPA-3 to power the LCRs and let the receiver handle the others. The UPA-500 would relieve some of the draw from the receiver but the XPA-3 would yeild the more noticable results. Using all 3 would be a pretty sweet multi-channel system.

No problem. By the time you guys come to the conclusion that you aren't going to find a new or used XPA-3 selling for $450 this one might be gone. If I still have it then, I'll sell it to you for $550.

I have this exact setup and it works great for 11.2, will sound even better once I move in a month to a place where I can crank it up.

Good luck on the sale.

I had the opportunity to buy XPA-3 for $450 and $475 shipped several months ago. Unfortunately, I didn't have the money at the time.

Those were used, and no warranty on them. So you also have to consider the warranty. If these have warranty it is worth paying the $550 locally.

I ended up buying Outlaw Monoblock amps. I started with one, and now I've got 6. I will be buying the 7th one hopefully next week.

Yep, new never used other than to check each channel. Shipping conformation was emailed to me on 4/30/13 so there is just under 4 years left on the warranty.

I think that's a great deal Sean! Its a brand new amp. If I hadn't just bought my RF7II's last week I'd be all over this in a heartbeat. Give me 3 months if you still have it which I doubt you will hit me up. GLWS!!
