I recently got a great deal on a Klipsch RC-62II center channel speaker. It's cherry in color and appears to be in perfect condition. Works perfectly too. Unfortunately, it is too big for the space and even turned way down is still a bit overwhelming (we have a relatively small room). Living in Charlottesville I had the opportunity to audition speakers at in person at Crutchfield and my wife and I were very happy with the sound and size of the RC-52. So . . . anyone want to trade? I would prefer to meet in person, but might be willing to ship for the cost of shipping (this sucker is heavy!). Would also be willing to sell the 62 for enough to buy a 52. Let me know if you're interested!
Retro, you're preaching to the choir here, but thanks for your concern. I knew when I got it that it might be a little big (in size) for the space, but it was such a good deal that I thought I'd take a chance. I've had Klipsch speakers for years but when we remodeled we downsized from KG-5.2's to RB-51 II's with a sub and had a small RCX-4 center channel speaker (I also have in-ceiling rears). The RCX-4 is a little small in sound and size, but the RC-52 seems to fit the bill in both. It's also black to match the RB-51's and passes the "decorating committee approval" test too. And yes, I still miss the 5.2's, but I got a Mac Pro as a movie server to make up for it
Oh ok, I was just wondering this step not many people willing to do so try Call Klipsch dealers like AVS, Sound distributors, you can get good deal over the phone on new RC-52II for sure and you can sell your RC-62II and maybe even make few extra $$$ , good luck.
