I have a inuke3000dsp with fan mod using noctua r8. Its 6 months old and I have switched subs and need power of inuke6000dsp. If you don't need that much juice with your inuke then I would like to switch. Will pay a difference for more power and cover shipping costs. Let me know
I've not got much use for another iNuke 3000 but I have two basically unused iNuke 6000 DSP units that I bought from sweetwater. I've not used them but my friend carp tried them out on his JTR 215HT Reference Towers for a few days. I've got them fan modded, but will include the original fans.
I paid $400 each (no tax free shipping).
I spent about $20 on each pair of fans
so about $420 for each amp.
They are effectively new.
$375 each OBO + split shipping? Shipping should be probably $20 for me -- so $385 shipped? (with two nice silent enermax fans included for each amp).
I bought two of these amps when the price dropped to $400 because I thought it was a limited time sale. I was going to run them one sub per channel on Ultimax 18's (1,800 watts per channel). But I ended up buying eight Ultimax 18's and so would need four iNuke amps (an additional $840) and I think I'm going to go with two 5000 watt old iron amps (I already own two 5000 watt amps) bridged to four drivers each at 4ohm, than have four iNuke amps for eight subs. The ultimax drivers are dual 2ohm, so I can't easily run more than 1 per channel on the Inuke DSP 6000 and tap out the driver's capabiilty. But the old iron amps will bridge to four ohm, so I can run 1,250 watts to each driver in two pairs of four.
So it makes financial sense for me to sell the iNuke's and get my money back and use the pair of 5000 watt amps I have over buying two more iNuke's and spending another $840.
I know $50 bucks isn't much discount, but it's $100 on both, and outside of carp playing with these the last couple days they are unused.
