WTB: Powerful AVR, with modern features

I’m looking for something with 4k capabilities, Bluetooth, Spotify connect are pretty much the most important to me.

Atleast 5.1 but willing to look at avr that has more to offer as I have a few KEF speakers unused right now.

This avr will be powering 2x def tech ST-L, a mythos ten center, and and 2x ST surrounds

I’d like to have atleast 150 Watts of true power but who knows nowadays who can actually provide what they claim...

Lemme know what ya got. Thanks.

Budget of 1,000 or less, Pittsburgh pa must be willing to ship or meet me half way.

That 150 watts of true power is hard to fulfill. The Denon x4300h can do 125w stereo (I don't know how much it puts out in surround). However you're not stuck with that- the X4300H has preouts to add seperate amps later - and at $799 it's a literal steal.

May be getting rid of my Pioneer SC-91 since I'm going to a pre-pro, if you're interested.

I agree about the denon. If you are spending $1000, why not try the denon. It comes with 3 year warranty.

considering those Def Tech speakers have a sensitivity of around 92db/m you should be able to play them about as loud as you like on something like that Denon AVR that someone already mentioned. Besides the difference in SPL between 100 watts and 150 watts to a speaker is really almost inaudible. We are talking about between 1db and maybe 3db in increased output. If it remember its about 100 watts of additional power to a speaker gains you something around 3db additional SPL

Don't believe the sensitivity from Def tech and I suspect many others. I have SM 65s and they are 92 listed, but tests have them at 88. Quite a difference.
