(Anamorphic lens not included)

I am selling my JVC DLA-RS2 projector with 930 hours on the original lamp (that's 930 hours total that has been run on the unit)...selling as I'm taking the plunge and upgrading to 3D. The RS2 was originally $6,500.

This unit is in absolutely excellent condition and is currently installed in a smoke/pet free environment. I have all original packaging including the box, remote, manual and cables.

The thing about the JVC's is the film-like image that they produce. It's not only in the specs where you want to look, contrast, lumen etc it's how the image projects on the screen. I paid $6,500 for this projector so this is a steal. (Oh yes, it hurts!)

The current range of JVC's for 2D viewing are a little better than this RS2, but not I wouldn't think the $3,000 plus more you would have to pay for an RS-45. (Ask on the AVS forum if you're interested)

Happy to email pictures.

"The JVC DLA-RS2U three-panel 1080p D-ILA projector is a
remarkable achievement in front-projection technology. It delivered a
native full-field contrast ratio over 30,000:1, which had previously
seemed unobtainable for a lamp-based projector. Its outstanding
black level and dynamic range, coupled with a higher gamma, provides
a viewing experience that had previously only been possible
with a fine CRT projector. It produces vividly colorful images, but
video perfectionists will want to use an external color-management
system for optimal colorimetry. Even with that addition, the JVC DLARS2U
($7,995) is an exceptional value for a superlative home theatre

The DLA-RS2 is the finest home theater projector you can buy. Upgraded from the DLA-RS1, JVC's award-winning breakthrough projector, the DLA-RS2 achieves the industry's highest native contrast ratio (30,000:1) without artificial means such as a dynamic iris. The DLA-RS2 utilizes three 1920 x 1080 D-ILA devices—a huge performance advantage over single chip DLP models. There's no color dithering, no color wheel, no rainbow effect. It produces the most natural color images of any projector at any price.
