I've recently upgraded to an AE8000 so I'm selling my Panasonic AE2000U that has been the mainstay of my smoke-free basement projection room for the past few years.

This machine listed for over 3K when it was new. Given that the same 3K can now get you the 2012 model, I'm willing to sell mine for $900 CDN, local pickup preferred. Don't be dissuaded by the fact that it's an older machine, this thing - when fed a good source- manages to resolve extraordinarily detailed images that are sharper, brighter and more contrasty than most of what I see in today's shoddy multiplexes.

You'll eventually need to buy a new bulb (though the current one is still very bright and I'm projecting on a 134-inch screen), so keep that in mind too.

Includes original box, remote, manual.

Please spread to the word to anyone you think may be interested!

It's at 2100 hours and the unit has always been run in Eco mode (in which the lamp is rated to last for 3000 hours).

Looks a replacement bulb is $350. How much do you estimate shipping to ottawa will be?
