Selling because we decided to purchase an Optoma HD33 as back-up for Optoma HD3300 in vacation rental home we own. The ceiling placement of W1070 will not work if needed to service HD3300.
Only problem: Sent W1070 into BenQ maintenance to replace HDMI #1 connector which would not work from day we received unit. Projector has firmware version 1.03; zero problems with unit other than HDMI #1 repair, which now works.
The returned unit from maintenance displayed 66 hours, but sure it was sent in with more than four hundred hours on the lamp (did not check number before sent in). The projector has only been run in low lamp mode, mounted on ceiling, and in home of non-smokers (engineering professor at BYU). Maintenance must have reset the lamp counter when fixing the HDMI #1 connector.
The projector ships with 5 pair of 3D 144 Hz glasses (all DLP Link): 2 True Depths rechargeable; 2 Hi-Shock D+D3G battery; 1 BenQ, of total value about $300.
The buyer will be charged an additional $30 for shipping, but I will insure the mailed contents for $1000, regardless of shipping costs.
