I have the following TVs for parts. All three have defective Y-sustain boards. I bought new y-buffers, as they had burnt processors on them, but opted out on fixing them as the Y-mains were also damaged. All of them have good display panels, power supplies and other parts. Make me offers on parts you may need. Again, I have replacement y-buffers (uppers are new/refurb) as those were the visibly damaged ones I ordered replacements for.
1 - Samsung 50" Plasma HPR5052X/XAA
Includes upper Y-buffer (new)
"pixels raining" on top half, lower half of the picture is ok. Sustain board had a bad cap, and I replaced it w/out any change.
1 - Samsung 50" Plasma HP-T5054
Includes upper y-buffer (new)
No picture at all has power. Power regulator chip on y-sustain burned right through the board and chip on the upper y-buffer had melted. I replaced the regulator as well as the upper y-buffer but still nothing. The buffer boards didnt even get warm so I'm guessing the y-sustain is hosed.
1 - Hitachi 55" Plasma 55HDX62
New power supply (old unit included, not working)
Again, no picture. Was told its most likely the y-buffers and y-sustain board on this one as well.
