They might be under a NDA.

The Greyhawk testers weren't under NDA... but who knows.

Anyways, I don't imagine anyone has gotten a screen yet, the factory was probably closed for the holidays and they must be pretty busy getting ready for CES.

Can the beta tester shed some light on this?

Regards,

Kam Fung

Stewart was closed for the Holidays. The beta test will start mid month. The final selection of testers will be determined by this Thursday.

Don

So does that mean that the late Jan delivery target is pushing back?

why is stewart advertising the firehawk when it's not in beta yet and there is no info on their website? I clicked on the banner ad that shows in this forum occasionally, and went to stewarts' homepage with no mention of the firehawk anywhere on the site (that I could find).

PS. what is the firehawk? is it an improvement on the greyhawk?

The Firehawk is a grey screen which will have some gain to it, which is ideal for lower lumen projectors that need a contrast boost but also would benefit from some gain. It is suppose to have a 1.3 gain, I believe. There were over fifty applications for a dozen spots for beta testers.

Did Don Steward mean today when he said this Thursday?

Notification went out to Beta testers on Thursday 1/3/02. That's about as clear as things can be stated.
