I am planning to buy a Fixed-frame Stewart Studiotek 1.3g screen (110"), because it is washable (so its says on the home-page), in addition to give an excellent image of course.

I live in a polluted air area (black dust), we also get insects in summer.
I need to be able to clean the screen from time to time. Is it possible to wash it with water ?

Anyone with a Studiotek that has some experience cleaning those ?

Thanks in advance.

Damn, son... please tell us where you live.

Most manufactured screens have special coatings, and I wouldn't rely on their claim of cleanability. I have a Formica screen.
