I have a newly bought NEC LT150, and I have decided to buy a 2.35:1 16x9 screen, and I have a couple of questions:

1. What is the official measurements for such a screen? (what factors should I calculate with to find the size screen I have room for on my wall?)

2. Is it possible to get a HORIZONTAL pull out screen? (Instead of pulling down, you pull to the right or left)
Is this recommendable? I just thought that since the screen is wider than it is tall, that should be a better way to go?

Thanks in advance!

96" X 54" is the 16:9 dimension. You can buy a 96"X96" High power, manual pull-down, model B by Dalite at www.shopcousinsvideo.com for $350. AVS may match it so give Jason Turk a ring. You can just pull down 96"X54" and use it as a 16:9 screen. You can pulldown further later to make 4:3 screen if you want. This is the most flexible and cost effective solution IMHO. You can mask for the 2.35:1 by using black felt glued on styrofoam boards (bought at HD) and held on by velcro (black ones at black borders of screen). If you ceiling mount your LT150 you may want to save money and get Video spectra material as it's about $100 cheaper.

As far as I know there is no L-->R pull screen. Only vertical to prevent sagging at middle as there is no support with L--->R pull screen.
