Also, if the sheetrock has been texturized will this hurt the picture?

To my eye the greyhawk material does not look to far off from Glidden Veil gray.

However, the greyhawk has special coatings that increase the gain, so a simple paint match is not likely to give the same results.

Of course nothing will really replace a Stewart screen from what I've read, but do a search for KBK Goo. This may be an inexpensive option to try out.
