Didnt see anyone really touch on this subject. I have a 106" fixed screen now but wife asked me about getting a pull down (manual is fine) but Im curious if there is any airflow in the room such as a ceiling fan does the screen move about? That would drive me insane.

If any of you can give me some pros/cons or advice on this since I know plenty of you have already travelled this road before, Id appreciate it! Thanks

If the airflow is strong enough it'll move it, i have a vent under my screen that I have to cover up or it'll move the screen......

Also pull down screens are subject to develop waves, luckily it hasn't happen to mine.......

I had both a manual pulldown and electric retractable that would move if the ceiling fan located about 6 ft away was set at 4,5 or 6 out of 6. My tab tensioned screen (which is much heavier) does not move until 6 (which is noisy enough to be inappropriate for watching movies anyway).

My fan has a remote: I've programmed my Harmony to lower the fan speed to 3 when I hit the "watch movie" or "watch TV" buttons.
