still like to hear if anyone has compared this screen the the da-lite hp 2.4 material, is it noticeably better - i do like the plasma ish look (a bit of an exagerration) of the hp that ive had, wondering if the DNP has the same style of effect but maybe a little cleaner/tighter?
really stuck here, no HP to be had and the DNP only goes to 120" - do i really need to reduce form 133", its so hard to go smaller.....
From what I've seen of my work buddy's supernova 2.3, it performs like most other angular light rejecting screens. They're good at blocking out ambient light. But they don't have as much real world gain as the retro-reflective screens. My friends old da-lite hp2.8 screen had more visible texture than the supernova at about 10 feet. So i can say that the Supernova has a cleaner look at 10 feet than the hp2.8, but definitely no where near as bright. Sorry, never seen a 2.4 in action.
