The 5010 is a pretty bright projector. The more gain you get the more artifacts you get. Do you have ambiant light issues? We have been pairing Black diamonds 1.4 with that as out go to screen. I would highly sugest if you are getting into that high of a gain screen with that bright of a projector you look at the combo first. The brigher the projector the more the gain materal will stand out. If you like what you see go for it.

Are you trying to make the sun jealous? I have the Epson 8500UB and it lit up a 135" on near best mode. I would go checkout recommended brightness for dark viewing which is typically 16FL. Just running some quick numbers, you would probably have more than double, around 36FL in best mode for that projector at min throw.

I have the 3010 and I'm looking for a 1.1 gain grey screen myself, I've read that 1.1 gain is optimal for me and the grey is good for the blacks.
