I ve read this entire thread:

Still don t know which screen would suit best for my setup. At this moment I m running my Sony VW95 on a basic 1.0 gain screen (from Kingpin, not familiar here probably, but it s a Dutch brand for screens with a low price and good performance). I like the 2D but dislike the 3D on it because it s a little dim/dull. What screen would give me the best brightness in 3D without doing too much concessions for 2D performance?

my setup:
VW95 in a total 100% controlled bat cave (everything is mat black, from furniture to walls etc). Screen size 100''.
Glasses are the MV3D glasses with the VW95 that I use.

Not that familiar with your PJ, but does it have the ability to change between picture settings?

Do you or have you tried calibrating one setting for 2D and a different one for 3D?

There is always a trade off when changing screens to compensate for 3D limitations, as the screen will change properties for both 2D and 3D.

IMO, it would be better to locate the best possible neutral, uniform screen and then set the 2D and 3D picture settings independently at the projector.

Or just buy two screens.
