One of my roommates moved out of state and left a 60" Planar Xscreen. I have no use for it, and don't really know too much about it, nor can find much info about it.

Anyone have any knowledge if these things are worth anything? It's fairly heavy, any value in trying to sell it, because shipping will probably be a ton? I'm in Chicago if someone has an interest locally.

It is a great screen for use in an ambient light situation. Unfortunately, it is the smallest size and most would just buy a flat panel instead of using a projector at that size. They used to be pretty expensive but I doubt you could get much more than a few hundred dollars for it now.

Sad, but very true. I can't imagine anyone using a projector for an image that size. 60" T.V.'s are so cheap now.
