I'm finally getting ready to install my Epson 8700UB that has been sitting in its box for months and am trying to research the best screen option. I will be in a totally light controlled room with black walls at a rather close seating distance of 13'. I think I've decided on going with a white 100" screen for this environment.

I'm sure all the threads on Carada have been archived or something, but I'm not seeing any information on the quality/satisfaction of these screens? I've read all 80+ pages of the Epson 8700UB thread and several people have mentioned the Carada BW as a good choice. From this forum, I started looking at the Jamestown also.

Can anyone comment on the build and screen material quality of the Caradas vs. something like the Jamestown (lower end) and Da-Lite (higher end)? Trying to decide if Carada is a significant jump over Jamestown or if I should just bite the bullet and look at all the Da-Lite options? Thanks in advance for any insight!

From a reply on the 8700UB forum, I think I am now leaning towards the Carada, but am having trouble finding any information on these screens in this forum (archived?). Can anyone point me in the direction of a good Carada resource, or have input on how it compares with Da-Lite? Thanks!
