Hello everyone,

I have some questions that I need advices from all the experts in here. I am very new to this area so please help me learn.

I have BenQ w710st, it's a 720p short throw projector. My setup has a lot of ambient lights being in apartment living room. Currently I have a 93" Stewart Firehawk, the original version with the projector throw distance being 5'1" away from the screen. I can watch movies fine when it's really dark but when I turn on the light or open the window, pictures look washed out and not watchable.

My brother gave me a Firehawk G3 screen, if I mount with my current set up, will I run into the same issues? I've been told that the minimum throw distance for this screen is 1.6 x image width. By having a short throw projector will this work with the G3? Or should i consider buying a different projector?

Please helps.
