Hi Folks.

I need some experienced advise.

I am new to the home theater world. I am one of my room (size 14 ft long by 10ft wide). My first row will start at 8ft and therefore I am thinking I shouldn't go bigger than 100 inch screen. (suggestions welcomed).

I just bought an Epson 3850. I ordered material to build a screen from ebay. It's grey, high contrast material. Plan on building the screen this weekend. I've been looking at many DIY videos on how to build a screen.

I am thinking I want to build a 16:9 curved screen. Honestly, I just want the curved screen for the looks more than anything. Will Epson 8350 work on a curved screen?

Also, in the videos they talk about radius of 40' I am not sure exactly sure what this means? Can someone explain that and how to make that radius? To make the curve apperance, I am thinking I will put up block at the both end of the screen, but can't figure out what the dimensions of those blocks need to be (I saw this idea on one of the real popular post here that talk about building a cruved screen.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Thank you in advnace.
