Hi guys, just signed up to the forums. This is my first post so be gentle haha. I did a search and found a couple of threads about double sided screens but they were fairly old so I was hoping to revisit the topic and hopefully get some feed back and suggestions on various products and how to get the best result.
Let me explain my setup. The cinema room is a single level room 4.0m x 3.8m which gives me a throw distance of 3.5 allowing for the size of the projector. The screen wall is an external wall adjacent to my outdoor area. Built into the screen wall is a 16:9 ratio 110" single pane glass window. An electronic roller shutter will be fitted to the outside of the window to completely black out all light during the day. On the inside I would like to attach a film to the glass that allows me to view it from the inside (just like a normal screen), or from the outside at night with the roller shutter up. Viewing from the outside is more of a novelty so I am happy to lose some picture quality on the outside as long as I can retain the best viewing quality on the inside.
The projector I am currently looking at is the Panasonic PT-AE8000.
Here are few products I found just from a quick search on google.http://vislogix.com/solutions/interactive/floors-walls/projection-screens-2/http://www.prodisplay.com/360-dual-image-projection-screens-film.html
This company make a couple of different productshttp://clearjekt.com/projection-films1/aura-ice/http://clearjekt.com/projection-films1/ultra-xc/http://clearjekt.com/projection-films1/clarity-film/http://clearjekt.com/projection-films1/aura-hc/
If anyone has a similar setup I would love to hear from you. Or if you can recommend any products or give some feed back on products listed above that would also be very helpful.
