I am thinking about upgrading my HT from a 65" Panny Plasma to a W1000ES projector and Stewart 100" motorized masking fixed mount wall screen.
The front and back walls are 16' apart and we sit about 10' away from the front wall so I am thinking a 100" screen is about right?.
To the left of the screen is a wall with a large window that currently has venetian blinds.
I have 5' from the top of the center channel speaker to the ceiling.
Since these photos I have upgraded to Monitor Audio Platinum PL300s for the front left, right, and center channels.
Now the 11.2 channel audio really rocks the house!!
I am hoping that by moving to a larger screen my HT video experience will be more inline with what my sound system is now capable of producing with is totally amazing!!!
To the right of the front wall is another room with patio doors and a window that let filtered light into the theater room.
The back wall has no light sources.
I can add black out curtains to cover the windows to the left of the screen but will still be getting filtered light from the room to the right of the screen.
I am wondering what screen material you would recommend given that I will always be getting some filtered light into the room during the day.
I have read that Stewart has a screen material made to work with the W1000ES, Firehawk SST.
Would this be the best match for the Sony or would another material be a better match in my situation?
