Hi guys, I have Panasonic plasmas throughout my house but want to try a projector in my walk out basement. There is still a lot of ambinet light despite the curtains. I'd rather not get thicker curtains or mess with my windows. My walls are white too. My wife and I like watching TV with the lights on. I have been doing research but I can't get a definitive answer.. are there any projectors/screens that would work really well in this situation and can keep the contrast/brightness/black/colors like the plasma can? Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks!

Sorry, there is no good solution.. there is the Black Diamond screen and others like it but that can be rather expensive compared to similar size and picture quality in a properly darkened room.

No there is not but The BD would be a good choice, There will be no way to do what you have described.

No, the BD or a DNP 08-85 would come closest to what you want.
