I was thinking of getting an inflatable screen for the yard. I was wondering if it would stay OK if I left it out - of course deflated - but not packed away. In this way, when we wanted to watch we'd just flick the on switch, and it'd inflate up and we can start watching. Note the yard is grass and it woudl only be left out during the summer months. I once left a tarp out for a summer and the next summer was shocked to see how many holes the bugs/ants had eaten through it. Would the same thing happen here? Would be nice to not have to bring it out and set it up - especially if we'd want to use it every day.

I wouldn't risk leaving it out. Bugs not withstanding, I don't think constant sun exposure will be good for the material. You definitely don't want to leave the screen out hooked up to an un-inflated frame. It will wrinkle and most likely mildew. Check over at Backyard Theater.com. There are lot's of folks that use inflatables and they will give you great feed back.
