Hello

In my country we dont have much screen companies. I have only 2 choices. I would like to ask you will I have a problem with this situation about fL in the pic with elite screen?

fL with elite 1.1 white screen 24fL AND its cheaper than grandview.

fL with grandview 1.0 white screen 21fL

Room has dark grey walls and ceiling. Projector is sony HW50ES and viewing distance from screen to my eyes is 12 feet.

1st situation:

and 2nd situation with grandview

Kind Regards

you are way above the 14-16 fl that is the rule of thumb for a black room. I would not worry about 1 vs 1.1 but more about which screen has the most complaints as for quality here in the forum. Then buy the one with the least!

I use a dalite HP screen and like it bright, 24fl is not a problem for me.

1.0 to 1.1 does not make a lot of difference. So I would go with the screen that had the smoothest surface. I do not know how smooth a Grandview is, so I could not recommend one over the other. Besides, I would not be surprised if the gain was not the same.
