Good day all,

I am new to the community!
I am working on my basement right now and setting up my home theater.
The projector I am interested in is the Panasonic PT-AE-8000U.
As for the screen, I have no clue what to pick. The sales rep is recommending a Cirrus screen 120" fixed frame for 498$.
I tried to do some research but could not find anything related to that. I'm a bit suspicious and am wondering if any of you heard about it?

Any help would be appreciated!smile.gif

Did you ever buy this screen? I ask because I am thinking of purchasing one as well.

I should rephrase my question: has anyone on this forum bought a Cirusscreen and what are your impressions? (I am thinking of buying a Taunten Grey Screen at 120".

No comments on this company is that a bad sign. Looking at one right now that is 135" 2.4 to 1 and advice would be nice.

Actually bought the 120" Taunten Grey Screen, it is fantastic, no problems here whatsoever... do I think that there are better screens, yes (especially fixed screens) but do I think the other drop down screens from other manufacturers are worth the extra money, no.

FYI I have now had my screen for about 4 months, and I am still very happy with it. And I also know someone else with a smaller fixed screen from Cirrus and they enjoy their screen as well.

To me it comes down to value for the money and I think that the performance is already 80-85% there for about 50-60% of the cost of others, so I would say this screen is definitely a winner.
