Hi,

I'm interested in buying an Epson 6020 (or 5020) and I'm trying to determine the best screen.

The projector will be mounted 15 feet from the screen. The room is completely light controllable, however I may choose to SOMETIMES watch with some lights on, like when friends are over for a game. Most of the time, however, I'll be watching it in complete darkness (except for the walls, ceiling, carpet).

I'm thinking about getting a 110" diagonal screen. I'm trying to determine if I should get white, gray, or what? Should I get a low gain screen (like .9 or .8) or should I get something higher?

Thanks in advance.

PN59D8000 and JVC RS420 with Elite 120" screen
Receiver - Yamaha RX-A3060, WXA-50 MusicCast Amp for Zone 2
Front - CM9, Center - CMC2, Side Surrounds - DS3, Rear Surrounds - CM5, Front/Rear Atmos - CCM663, Subs - PB12+ and PB13 Ultra
Remote/Streaming Media Players - Harmony Elite, Apple TV 4, Nvidia Shield Pro - use with HDHomeRun Connect/Extend and Plex

I have an Epson 9500 and went with a JKP Affinity 110" 16x9 Dalite .09 screen. Not sure if it's actually pure white, maybe an off white, with gray in it.

For me it's perfect, but I don't do games, only movies.

...finally retired and spending time in my HT!!!

Equipment consists of: Epson 6040 3D/4K UB Projector(ISFed); 110" 16x9 Dalite HD Progressive Screen; Samsung 3D/4K K8500 Player; Definitive Speakers (Center, Towers, Rears); Earthquake P12 sub; Onkyo 608 A/V Receiver; MX990 Remote; 5 Bello chairs; Coaire Mini-split A/C.
